[Tutorials] Hướng dẫn Downgrade vB 4.0.x to vB 3.8.x

Sau một thời gian dùng vbb 4.0.x mình cảm thấy vẫn thích 3.8.x hơn vì thế quyết định downgrade vbb 4.0.x xuống 3.8.x. Nhưng khổ nỗi là data của 4.0.x không thể dùng được cho 3.8.x. Mình đã mất rất nhiều thời gian để tìm hiểu vấn đề này và mình cũng đã search tất cả các forum hỗ trợ vbb nhưng đều ko có kết quả. Cuối cùng đành phải tự mày mò nghiên cứu vậy. Và cuối cùng mình đã làm được. Mình nghĩ những người muốn downgrade từ 4.0.x xuống 3.8.x chắc cũng rất vất vả để mày mò nên mình viết hướng dẫn này để giúp đỡ những ai muốn downgrade từ vbb 4.0.x xuống 3.8.x (giống như mình). Với những hướng dẫn dưới đây thì việc data của 4.0.x có thể dùng được cho 3.8.x bây giờ không còn là vấn đề nữa.
P/S : TUT này mình chỉ viết ở VietMF.com nên ai có vô tình copy sang site khác thì xin để lại nguồn .Tôn trọng quyền tác giả tí thôi mà.

Việc đầu tiên cần làm là backup data của forum(The first you must backup data of your forum)
Bắt đầu thực hiện(Let's begin)
Trong hướng dẫn này mình sử dụng data của vbb4.0.3 và sử dụng Mybb để chuyển nó thành data của vbb3.8.5 bằng cách sử dụng ImpEX v1.95[FONT=Times New Roman](In this tutorial, I will be working on a database vbb4.0.3 and using Mybb to convert it to vbb3.8.5 using ImpEX v1.95)
GO!
1. Import the backed up database with phpmyadmin into your localhost
2.Set up mybb on the localhost and install it in a new database [i use mybb2 as the database name]
Now, Preparing to convert the vb 4.0.2 to MyBB
Upload the files of the merge system [in link below] to the mybb folder in ur server (for me it is localhost/mybb2) and now go for the converter installation http://localhost/mybb2/convert.
and follow the instructions :
Select the 3.8 section [ this is not gonna affect us from importing vb 4]
now click on database configuration and set it
[use the source information(vb4) on the fields ]
NOW RUN ALL THE OPTIONS AVAILABLE THERE . DO NOT MISS ANY !
These are the random pics in the process
Ok guys now we have successfully moved to mybb and now we have to update the forum counters to show all the forums, members and all the stats correctly
so follow the screens now
ok guys the 1st part has been successfully done !
We have now converted vb 4 to mybb 1.4 using mybb's converter
Now guys make a new database
[i have made vbulletin3]
and install a fresh copy of vbulletin 3.8.x
[i prefer a DGT Release or vBTEAM Release]
Now get impex in link below
and upload it to the new vb installation directory and rename the ImpExConfig.php.new file to ImpExConfig.php from the impex directory
and edit the settings as shown in the image
you can also use notepad or word to edit the php file
now go to the admin panel of the new vb3 and select import
now do the selection as on the below image and click begin import at the end of the page
now do all the modules and lets go to the final step of the import after all the imports are done
You will need to update all the counters in the maintenance tools
and change the site url and homepage url from the vboptions to match with ur site and now export the database and import it to ur live server
you are done !
